MY STORY
My name is Leo, I'm the owner and craftsman behind Humble Lion Leather. I currently serve in the US Military but wanted to pursue a mobile hobby that could be operated globally. Yes, everything is American made but the location is dependent on the military. My wife and I have been married for 14 years and have 3 beautiful kids. They definitely keep me busy and on my toes. When I retire, I plan to grow the business with their help. They have been so supportive of this dream and I am thankful to have them.
Humble Lion Leather was created because of my appreciation for a timeless craft and the process of handmade leather goods that are as practical as they are beautiful. My grandfather was an innovative craftsman. When I was little, I watched him craft all kinds of amazing things. From him, I've found the love for crafting and designing leather goods by hand. I am grateful for the work ethic and values he instilled in me. Hard work is the foundation of every dream, staying humble pursuing that dream, is key.
In 2020, I quit video games and pursued a different outlet. I was searching for a new wallet and discovered the leather community on Instagram. Amazed by the attention to detail and artisanal designs, I decided this was it. I started researching and soon after, I crafted my first leather wallet. From that moment on, I've been focused and obsessed with crafting leather goods. In 2021, I established Humble Lion Leather as a brand. It has been a blessing and inspiring. I am thankful for all the support, feed back and amount of compliments. It truly means a lot. I hope you get as much out of my creations as I get from making them.
